My family loves to cook. Whether we are home or on vacation, a strong passion for all things culinary has been passed down to us all. This can sometimes makes vacation rentals annoying if our “tools” are not available. We should probably add a line item in our vacation budget for all the things we have added to the places we have rented over the years. So when we planned out our rental kitchens, we made sure that we, and all our guests who love to cook, could enjoy the kitchen.
The Basics
Of course not everyone is raised in a family of amateur chefs, so deciding what to put in a rental kitchen, and remembering everything can be a daunting task. Lucky for you, here is a list of basic kitchen utensils and supplies any rental kitchen should be stocked with. We’ve found all the items on this list to be durable, long lasting, and high quality.[^1]

Doing the Dishes
No one especially likes the cleaning up part that comes after cooking and eating a delicious meal, but unfortunately it is generally necessary. Make it a little easier on your guests, especially if your property is devoid of a dishwasher, with these items:
Useful Decorations
You could shove all of your cool new cooking supplies into drawers and cabinets, but why not add some decorations to your kitchen? Utensil holders, pot hangers, and paper towel holders all offer ways to decorate the kitchen of your rental property with a little uniqueness.
